Just because Fall has semi set in. I believe we have had at least three days of cold weather….Crazy right?
Okay okay, I will admit, this weekend it does look a little chilly, but don’t let that stop you from going outside!
First and foremost, The Boise Farmer’s Market is still up and running, just in a slightly smaller space and you guessed it, indoors! They obviously change the name to the Winter Market and we couldn’t be more in love. Something about roaming around the farmers market on a lazy Saturday just sets the whole day up for success. The Winter Market is located down on 8th and Fulton Street and runs from 9am to 2pm… The Winter Market only runs until December. 17th, so don’t miss your chance.
Just when you thought there was only one market all weekend…
“The Wintry Market 2016 will be open and free to the public on Saturday Nov 19 – 10am to 5pm / Sunday Nov 20 – 10am to 3pm at El Korah Shriners.” Just like our beloved farmers market, this will have crafts and goodies! It is only open for two days so remember, get out and go local to support all of our wonderful markets this week.
After your day of scouring markets, don’t forget to swing into Pray for Snow at Tom Grainey’s. There will be deliciously brewed beers. snowboard/skiing event and tons of merchandise to pick through. Let’s all ‘pray for snow’ so we have a wonderful ski season to look ahead to.
There is a little bit of everything for everyone in our community this weekend. It all revolves around winter, (which I love). So, if you don’t go, don’t worry, I will be down there snapping photos of the wintery spirit of Boise. Stay tuned for Monday’s blog… If you see me down at any of these events, say hi and if you’re brave enough, I would love to feature you in our blog.
